Arts and artists require exposures to the society they belong to through public performances. Formerly these exposures were provide th the artists by Royal patronage. Some social organizations encouraging cultural activities also did this work quite enthusiastically. It is felt that Royal patronages are now non-existent and the social organization encouraging cultural activities are far and few now. SAMANVAY is the result of the getting together of some like minded parents who like ,love, admire and appreciate good cultural activities involving different visual and performing arts. They felt the need to form some socio-cultural organization which can provide some platform for stage performance to young and enthusiastic boys and girls trying to excel in the art of TABLA playing. These art loving and cultured parents made sincere efforts to do something in this direction. The outcome was the formation of SAMANVAY in November 2006.

The objective of SAMANVAY is to provide opportunities for stage performances to young budding artists and thus give them incentive and encouragement to excel in the art of playing TABLA. Many a time the young talents in our society do not get a chance to grow and develop their latent talents due to the lack of proper incentive and encouragement at the initial stage of their learning efforts to achieve the set goals. SAMANVAY wishes to provide these budding artists with this very important requirement and through it to make its own contribution to the cultural heritage of the Sanskar Nagari Vadodara and thus pay attribute to Late Shrimant Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad. |

Keeping in mind this cultural aim SAMANVAY organized its First Programme to provide stage to the young artists of AKSHAR TABLA ACADEMY on 27th December 2006 at Amin Party Plot, Subhanpura, Vadodara. The good aim earned good dividend and the programme was a great success. The budding artists, the academy and the organizers were all happy and more than just satisfied with this success.
