It is extraordinary what young artists can do with proper coaching. Not only they performed with beautiful technique, but they were coached to performed with understanding of the text and meaning. They proved that teens have a lot to give when challenged in a constructive way. Our community needs strong musical organisations to fill the gap left by diminishing music programs in the society, and such academy is giving our young people something they and we need, a worthy achievement and beautiful music. Such events encourage young talent and expose both the artist and the audience to the dramatic and exciting world of Calssical Music. It offers unique experience to young artists not only in Music but also teaches them professional skills and discipline.

"AKSHAR TABLA ACADEMY' was promoted by Shri Rakeshbhai Nai after he obtained his post graduation in music from M. S. Uni. faculty of fine arts with specialization in TABLA. During the past about 10 years, Shri Rakeshbhai has been coaching young boys and girls the art of playing "TABLA". The parents of these young minds were convinced that in Shri Rakeshbhai they have a committed GURU and hence the effort put in by him should be rightly channelized. Hence, during November'2006 such like minded parents got together along with Shri Rakeshbhai and decided to create a platfrom for these young performing artists. Thus, was SAMANVAY born which means getting together for a common objective. |
